Palm LeafIf you are unable to attend my workshops/courses during the available dates shown and/or you require direct tuition, I am available for private photography tuition for one on one lessons, or for a small group of people.

Private tuition is a fun and exciting way to fast tract your photographic knowledge on both the art and science of photography.

Whether your are a complete beginner wanting to learn the basics or an enthusiastic amateur who wants to expand on a particular area, the tuition can be tailored specifically to your own personal requirements.

  • ISO settings, white balance, exposure compensation, bracketing

  • Natural and artificial light, and flashes

For the enthusiastic amateurs we can expand on the creative and artistic aspects of photography such as:

  • Composition and framing

  • Different angles of view and perspectives

  • Macro and abstracts
  • Nature and wildlife
  • Street and people photography
  • Sports and action

By the end of the tuition you should be more confident using your camera, be able to understand the photography jargon, and capture your chosen photographic subjects with more creativity.  By then you should potentially see a great photo opportunity in the making and take it.

Please wear comfortable clothing which allow you to kneel and if need be to lay down on the ground.  And comfortable shoes since we may be out all day.  I also recommend a wide brim hat for a sunny day.

If we are out in the sun all day, please be cautious of sunblock creams or sunscreen lotions.  These can damage some of the surfaces of your camera gear and lens elements.  Instead I would recommend a long sleeve shirt and a wide brim hat.
