About the Photography Instructor

Hi, my name is Andy Beck and I love the outdoors, photography and travel.

Like most people I always wanted to see the world and so I started traveling in 1998.  My travel happy snaps just didn’t cut it so that’s when I decided to upgrade.  I brought my first professional SLR (single lens reflex) camera and thus began my journey for travel and photography.

Self taught, my commercial experience has covered weddings, travel photojournalism, portrait and landscape photography, and private functions. My work has also appeared in travel advertising and corporate brochures.  Also, having worked in the camera industry for 7 years, I am experienced in much of the latest equipment.

My photography covers a wide range of subjects but my passion is in black and white landscapes and portraiture while on an exotic location.  You can see some of my photographic work at www.beckphoto.com.

Currently located in Sydney, NSW, Australia, I am now able to combine my photography skills and years of experience into a comprehensive workshop that people can enjoy.
